Created in May 2010 by students of ISAE-ENSICA, Rêve’Ailes is the student amateur construction association of Toulouse. Its objective is to build an ultralight aircraft Multiaxis in partnership with the flying club of Revel for learning to fly ultralight. The students have a construction workshop on the ENSICA campus, and have opened a second one on the SUPAERO campus.
The Rêve Ailes team presented the progress of its project during the annual presentation evening on February 8th in the ENSICA building. This evening was once again a success, with in particular the presence of the manufacturers framing, the direction of the ISAE and the former members.
The association presented in the conference room the progress made in the construction of the ULM Zenair CH 601, and the prospects of the project. The new president, Bruno Saliou, took the opportunity to introduce the members of the new board of the association, essentially composed of first-year students at ISAE.
The evening continued with a buffet organized by the members of Rêve Ailes in the reception room, where parts being assembled were displayed. The construction progresses and the malonnier, a device that allows paraplegic people to fly is being studied by two students of the association.
The members of Rêve Ailes warmly thank the people present during the evening for their support: Mr. FOURURE director of ISAE, Mr. SALANOVA deputy director and Mr. HUYNH director of the ENSICA training, the ISAE foundation with Bernard Vandecasteele and Jean Louis Marcé as well as the students present
