To celebrate International Women’s Rights Day on March 8, we are presenting a month-long gallery of portraits of women who make up ISAE-SUPAERO. An opportunity to ask them how they perceive the place of women in science and in society.

Naomi Murdoch

Researcher at ISAE-SUPAERO, she works on the geophysics of asteroids and planets.

WHAT POSITION DO YOU HOLD AT ISAE-SUPAERO AND WHAT HAS BEEN DECISIVE IN YOUR CAREER?

“I am a researcher in the Space Systems for Planetology & Applications (SSPA) team. My research focuses on the geophysics of asteroids and planets. To do these studies we send space instruments to different targets in the Solar System. These can be near-Earth asteroids, small moons or Mars... I got here, I think, thanks to three very important aspects: motivation, hard work, meetings and sharing with colleagues who have always pulled me up...”

Neelam Shivhare

Mary Bonneaud-Lagarde

A staff member at ISAE-SUPAERO, she is responsible for the development of sponsorship at the Corporate Relations and Sponsorship Department (DREM).

WHAT POSITION AND FUNCTIONS DO YOU CURRENTLY HOLD AT ISAE-SUPAERO AND WHAT HAS BEEN DECISIVE IN YOUR CAREER?

“I am responsible for the development of sponsorship in the Corporate Relations and Sponsorship Department. (DREM). I work with researchers and teachers to develop projects that can be presented to the ISAE-SUPAERO Foundation and then sponsored by companies. I also work closely with the Foundation and the Alumni Association to develop the Alumni community...”
