Open Day at the ISAE-SUPAERO and ENAC campuses

As part of the Fête de la Science,ISAE-SUPAERO andENAC will open their campuses to the public on Saturday, October 13 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Aimed at families, companies, partners, journalists and alumni, this event is expected to bring together more than 5000 people.

On the program for this day

At ISAE-SUPAERO:

• visits to laboratories and research departments: avionics simulator, Pegase simulator, flight simulator, subsonic wind tunnel, neuro-ergonomics, drone aviary, manufacturing workshops, large anechoic chamber, turbojet engine, static room, structural dynamics room, SMARTIES simulator to study complex avionics systems, EBoat; the drone ship,
• visit of the aeroacoustic wind tunnel, a unique facility in Europe to meet the challenges of the future and design the aircraft of tomorrow,
• demonstrations: how an aircraft flies, aeroelasticity, aerodynamics of drones, gyroscopic effect for space systems, piezoelectric effect, lasers to communicate at the speed of light on Earth as in space,
• meetings with student clubs: Robotics club, M.A.R.S, Supaéro Space Section, Eco Marathon Shell, parachute club, glider club, ULM club...
• exhibitions: “Nanosatellites”, “Several on Mars”, “ISAE-SUPAERO, 50 years in Toulouse”.
• information stands on training courses, the ISAE-SUPAERO Foundation, the OSE social opening programme, Aeroscopia, the Erasmus programme, the ISAE Group, the Alumni Association,
• Activities for children: Planetarium, treasure hunt, scientific games, robotics activities, scientific and fun experiments and animations, welding initiation workshop, electronic kits and sound devices,
• tour “Studying at ISAE-SUPAERO” with an amphitheatre presenting the engineering curriculum, a presentation of digital learning and guided tours of the student campus, sports facilities, residences and the university restaurant,
• Student shop: possibility to buy ISAE-SUPAERO souvenirs (sweatshirts, T-shirts, mugs, key rings, ...)
• presence of the student band, Los Soupaéros
