I.D.E.E and Rêve’Ailes initiative

The I.D.E.E. (Innovation and Development of the Entrepreneurial Spirit) initiative project led by Thibault MONTAUD, Stéphane JULIEN and Yacine VIGOUREL (2nd year of ENSICA training), began with the creation within the BDE of an amateur aircraft construction club which set up the structures necessary for the construction of a light, reliable and easy to fly two-seater aircraft

The initial objectives included an association with a flying club in the Toulouse region which would become the owner of the aircraft after construction, to ensure the sustainability of the project and the guarantee of its operation.

This way of proceeding allowed the flying club to acquire an aircraft at a lower cost and the ISAE students to fly at preferential rates within the framework of an agreement to be finalized.

Today, the project, which is a graduating element of the ENSICA training for these three students, has taken a series of decisive directions:

• the choice of the device has been made and contacts with the designer and importer have been initiated
• the LCL bank is sponsoring part of the project through an account opening campaign.
• The Revel flying club has become a partner in the project by committing to pay for the engine in exchange for the operation of the aircraft.

We still have to consolidate the budget, optimize the manufacturing possibilities to build the aircraft within 2 to 3 years, get it certified and finally make it available to ISAE pilots.

The initial project is now carried by an association Rêve’Ailes which was created thanks to the active support of Mrs Vacher and Gourinat.
Some students from SUPAERO have just joined the association to carry out this ambitious project.
