Concert: “Tous en choeur pour le Togo” (All together for Togo)

We are pleased to invite you to the charity concert we are giving for the benefit of the House of Bethany, an orphanage in Togo:

Friday, May 27, 2016 at 8:15 pm at the church of Saint Marc, 68 avenue de Rangueil.

Orphans or abandoned, the children are welcomed by Sister Victoire whom we have met several times in France and Françoise, one of our choristers, has already been there twice to help on the ground.

She was able to take part in the tireless work that Sister Victoire accomplishes on both the moral and material levels with the children she welcomes, as well as with people in difficulty who come to her for support.

Since the beginning of the year 2000 and on the initiative of Pierre Tossou, former choir director of the Auzeville Choir, we have been supporting La Maison de Béthanie for various projects.

The money collected during the concert will go entirely and directly to this association and will be used to co-finance the extension of the drilling of the well to allow access to deeper and therefore healthier water and thus avoid diseases (glaucoma) due to brackish water.

3 choirs join together for this support project:

• Les Aéronotes under the direction of Claire Saurel
• Les Chœurs de la Plaine under the direction of Jean-Yves Garinet
• and La Chorale D’Auzeville under the direction of Christine Lauxire.

On the program: songs from Estonia, Spain, England, France, ... and Latin America.
